Week #5

This one was really fun to do because there was a lot of wet into wet as a foundation. I really like the 'bloom' that rises up behind the buildings. There's an ongoing argument between Paul and I: he thinks I need to add foliage to the lower half, and I like it left with more abstract brushstrokes. Feel free to weigh in.

  1. Love it how it is. I think foliage would detract from it... but I have always loved the abstract edges of a watercolour.

  2. Would it be more cypress like up top? That might be distracting. Blobby vines might be ok. :)

  3. Leave it. Your first instinct is the right one!

  4. Gorgeous just like that! Adds to the feeling of the heat of a southern Mediterranean village.
