Every year three generations of Kratters head up to a family camp in the Sierra town of Pinecrest. It's dusty, dry and beautiful. We've been staying there for over 40 years, & over the years I've planted myself at the baseball diamond while the Kratter men play softball. I've probably painted over 20 little 'sketches' of the surrounding Ponderosa and Jeffrey pines.
So, here are two of this year's bunch- they're only about 3 1/2" wide.
