A few weekends ago I spent two days in S.F. with a couple of dear pals. We each had to pick an activity we'd never done there before, even though all 3 of us grew up in the Bay Area. Linda picked a walking tour of the Haight. Our guide was perfect: he clearly had fried a few brain cells along the way.
