This may be my largest watercolor yet. I think it's around 22" x 30". Though it took a while to paint, I really enjoyed attacking it as if it were a lot of abstract shapes.
Our first 4 days were spent at the Mashatu Reserve in easternmost Botswana. Winters there are cool: about 40ยบ at night, and we're in open-air tents. The tradeoff is that there are no bugs in the wintertime.
