11" x 17" watercolor on Richeson watercolor paper. I had a great time working on this one- those oranges and reds are so fun to use. But the paper! I got a packet of samples and have had two sheets act more like blotter paper than watercolor paper, so the whole collection of samples ended up as kindling for this weekend's fireplace. Still, this was great fun to do: lots of tight and loose areas to figure out.
After your hitting the wall post I was going to use a NASCAR metaphor about "racing is rubbing", but after seeing this I'd say a construction metaphor is more apt. Your'e a D7 dozer crunching thru a paper wall. Really like this one.
